You need a size 5 probably, or a 180. Legs will be a bit long, but they can be altered if they do not shrink enough.  I would not go for an Adidas. Too snug and lots of shrinkage.  Worst judogi I ever owned.  Sold it on in months.

Try contacting Vin at kodokangear.com .   He is very knowledgeable and helpful. I've always had good service from him.

I am in the same boat as jonesy. Owned an Adidas. Also the worst gi I owned. Shrinkage is terrible. Gave it to my son after a few weeks.
Personally I use the Fighting Films superstar and master gi. I own 2 superstar and 3 master gi.
Seen the Greenhill range the other day and they look good, but seem a snug fit also.

Still remember my old shogun gold though Smile. Plenty of room in that gi lol

But they have no cool shoulder stripes ... Sad

    I like this one too:

    Adidas Judo Gi 0214-lg

but it is still a bit hard to say before I have had my 14 ninjer badges sewn on.

Thanks for all your respones. I'm going for the Adidas because I live in Argentina, and it's the best around here. We don't have Mizuno. Thank you all.

take a look at Fushida gis. The owner takes your custom measurements and makes the gi. Your weight and height suggest a size 5 will run a bit small depending on the cut. We have a guy who is 220 and 5'9" who barely fits the 5. Some guys in the club swear by Fushida gis... Our club bought gear bags from them in the spring and the quality is outstanding.

Cristo at Fushida is really nice to deal with, and he has great quality stuff, but it isn't custom made. The Tournament model is a workhorse. Several of our guys have bought them.

Why would someone even need a "custom-made" gi. Tens of thousands of people have done jûdô over a +130-year period, people who have spent 50 years or more in jûdô, people who won medals on All Japan Championships, Olympics, World Champions with a simple good-quality gi bought in a store, won, received as a gift, borrowed from someone else, and we have people who I am reasonably assuming --no intend to offend-- have neither spent 50 years in jûdô nor are in any of the other categories yet are seriously thinking of "custom-made gi" ? Calls for a reality check.

simply get yourself a proper jûdôgi-size map and you'll be fine. I am 6.0 ft, went through a period of weight gain and weight loss of which I dare not even mention the number all with the same gi from different brands (KuSakura, Mitsubôshi, etc). Why is it that the same gi in me can fit me at 6.0 ft and can bridge the whole range of weight gain and weight loss, but numbers mentioned here far less discrete require national crisis panel ? Unless you are going to be fighting tomorrow in an international IJF tournament where you will be measured, and where you are all of such an elite level that the smallest strategic advantage need to be considered, get yourself an ordinary gi and train like 99.9% of the jûdôka do and train with it until it feels like your second skin.

Huh... didn't know that. I have two gis- one blue, one white. They are used for training and tournaments so gi apparel is not my strong suit. (pun intended)
