THE IJF CREATES A COORDINATION COMMITTEE OF DIRECTORS
Mr. Marius VIZER, the IJF President, and the Executive Committee, recently approved the creation of a Coordination Committee of Directors. The main role and objectives of the Coordination Committee will be to promote and implement at a much wider level the IJF strategy, as well as to promote the Judo values on the five continents.

The Directors composing the IJF Coordination Committee:
• Mr. Shinji Hosokawa - JPN
• Mr. Manuel Larranaga - MEX
• Mr. Moshe Ponte - ISR
• Mr. Achilles Guzman - CHI
• Mr. Mike Tamura - CAN
• Mr. Khaltmaa Battulga - MGL
• Mrs. Sanda Corak - CRO
• Mr. Hachicha Skander - TUN
• Mr. Siteny Randrianasoloniaiko - MAD
• Mr. Domenico Falcone - ITA

Mr. Shinji Hosokawa, Olympic and World Champion, who was present in Tokyo on the occasion of the 2014 edition of the Judo Grand Slam, said: « I am really happy and satisfied. I will and we all will be working hard for the development of international judo. We are ready for that and honored that this task was proposed to us by the IJF President and validated by the Executive Committee. »

I've known Mike Tamura for many years, and he is a solid Judo person, and the current President of Judo Canada. Good choice.
