I had taken a short break from competition. two weeks ago had a tryout so to say at a local tournament. Now was able to show me 2.0 at the national championships. I ended up in second place in the -91 kgs catagory (me weighing only 85 hehe). But I came in with strong mental game. Now its time to start working on decent takedowns again. But the killer instinct is back. I got 5 subs out of 7 matches.

Well done, Brian. Nice work. Watching you reminds me of Ryan Hall.

Thanks I can see why thats true. I do have a decent top game nowadays though, but against people heavier than me I prefer to use my bottom game and flexibility. I did win one fight on top by passing several times, but that wasnt included in this video.

I hereby sentance you to a public spanking for the use of the inverted guard, I really hate that, but in consideration of your transition to body triangle and rnc I subsequently suspend the sentance.
Nice work

Agreed. I was going to reprimand him for missing a sitter of a triangle choke, but the transition to rear and subsequent rear naked was superb.

I use my inverted guard as a transitional position, I dont try to stall. The triangle option was there because I went for the kimura grip, giving up that grip would probably have made me miss the triangle.
Im glad you guys gave me a pass. The transition definitely is going to be in my highlight reel lol.

Honestly, the only awfull thing about the videos you posted are your shorts.. You have very nice, smooth transitions and a submission heavy game, really cool.
