Oh shnoot. I know the onion, but I can't be expected to keep up with every hoax site that comes up.
He does make a lot of money though. Perhaps not hundreds of millions but definitely millions because he was quoted complaining about the French taxation rate levied on revenues exceeding 1M €. He's had sponsorship deals with Adidas and been doing things like voicing Disney characters in French.
