The 5th International Martial Arts Games 2013 will be held in Melbourne, Australia

The event includes an International Open Judo Tournament to be held on Saturday the 11th of May 2013 at the State Netball & Hockey Centre

There will be U13 & U16, U18, Seniors & Masters Divisions

It was the first time that the International Martial Arts Games were held in Melbourne, Australia. Not only that but it was the first time that Judo was included. There were six mats in operation at any one time and it got quite hectic at times trying to keep track of what was going on. At one stage some Karate blokes came over to pass compliments on how exciting they thought the judo was. All in all a great success for a first time event. Now if only I could upload some photos!
