I just saw a mention that Darlene (Poochie) Montgomery passed away. Is that true? Does anyone know any more than that?

There is also a one year-old artilce indicates a history of diabetes-induced kidney problems, and other articles mention that in February this year her sister passed away too:

Wow, that's really sad. I remember she had diabetes even back when I was on the team with her in the 1980s
