IBSA Judo World Championships 2014

Hello! I just wanted to let everyone know that the 2014 IBSA World Championships for the Blind and Visually Impaired will be held September 4-6, 2014 at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs! We need volunteer! Let me know if you are interested. Or just come to support these outstanding athletes. Thanks!

I think this is the first time the US has hosted the IBSA World Championships, right Heidi? Are the latest IJF rules regarding touching below the belt being applied?

Actually it was in Colorado Springs in 1995. They use most of the ijf rules except that coaches can coach during play not only forum matte. They also made the first leg touch a shido and the 2nd is HSM.
