Hi there - this is Dew - Ive jsut enabled things so people can post here - before only admin could for some reason - lots needs doing to this forum to make it workable - but Im sure if we all pool together it will be fine .

I actually had a reply to a PM that I sent to the Admins there, so I think they are aware of the issues. Being aware and caring enough to take action are two different things...

Not a bad site, but they post a new subject once a month. One of the great things about the old forum was the frequency of new posts/questions/topics.

Really pleased to have found this forum so many thanks!
I am a refugee from the old site, very much a judo white belt, enjoying reading and learning about judo to help me better support my child who is an aspiring competitive player. I figure if I'm going to spend hours (and hours, and hours...) sitting at judo competitions and driving to and from training and events, then it would be a good idea to have a clue what's going on and how it all works!
My judo player is the middle of my three kids, neither of the other two are into judo so we have a fair amount of family juggling going on. My judo player was a late starter, taking his first class in his early teens, so is currently working his way through his grades and building competition experience.
I am a refugee from the old site, very much a judo white belt, enjoying reading and learning about judo to help me better support my child who is an aspiring competitive player. Thanks Dew. One other request - could you make it possible to reply in "Mobile view"? It's supernice to be able to read in that format but a pain in the ass to have to switch to post.
Do that and I'll volunteer to mod a subforum

I just got back from my honeymoon (it was awesome) only to see that the other forum curled up and died while I was gone. count me among the refugees.
