Yes, this is a good deal if you can make the time. There are usually several sensei, most of who have broad experience in kata, and you can run through a number of different kata, or work out the details of any given kata, as there is someone that can help on most any judo kata.
The occasional Saturday afternoon monthly kata class tended to get preempted so a regular weekday class makes good sense.
