    I am very sad to report that Roy Inman 9 Dan, arguably the greatest coach ever of elite female judoka has passed away.

    My deepest condolences go out to all of Roy Inman's family and friends.
    I was very shocked to hear of his passing at training last night.
    I had the pleasure of being uke for him at a coaching day many years ago. Great judo mind and a fantastic coach.
    He will be sadly missed by all the British judo community, and surely by many other judoka worldwide also.
