    Congratulations to Robert (Bob) Thomas of the UK on his well deserved promotion to IJF 8 Dan.  Bob is a renowned kata expert and has devoted a significant proportion of his life to judo.  He has a wealth of technical knowledge.

    The photograph shows Bob being presented with his certificate by BJA Director Eddie Awford.
