How is it that USA Judo has 5 nominees, and a day or two in, one guy has 80% of the votes, at 10-20k votes. Really? There are barely 20k judoka in the US, and they aren't all USA judo, and statistically not all are voting. Today alone the vote count doubled, from 40k-80k+. Is that so? It was going as fast as 150 votes a minute.
What upstanding organization puts up a public poll to vote on an award that's supposed to mean something, without providing some sort of safeguard against this kind of thing, which would be as easy as voting through facebook?
What a joke. I hope the winner enjoys his award, along with his votebots.
