Dynamic Judo Kazuzo Kudo Empty Dynamic Judo Kazuzo Kudo

Post by medo Sun Oct 06, 2013 6:41 am

As I have retired from Judo I am considering selling my near mint 1967 Dynamic Judo throwing techniques and grappling techniques both in their cardboard boxes I have owned them for more than twenty five years they have only come out of their boxes if a Judoka has come visit me at my home never left the top shelf of my bookcase and have only been opened on a table.
I also have a book by Brian Jacks I never seen another one anywhere and Japanese champions which is also an excellent book to own.

Anyone interested! I rate these but obviously not extremely rare compared to CK’s and NBK’s collection I’m thinking rather than leave these books on my top shelf another Judoka could enjoy them.

    Hi.

I'd be interested if you still have them. Can you let me know?
    I can't believe nobody's replied to this.

    Thanks

I was surprised there was little interest.
Since posting this I have found that both the newaza and tachiwaza are first edition books in mint condition with there box covers in fine condition.
My research suggests that they are worth £200 plus each so I am going to hang on to them for now..
    Thanks for your interest

Hohoho.... perhaps you should look at it this way - CK and I, along with Finarashi and Wdax, ran the market up by buying one of everything (well, admittedly I bought 3 or 4 of some....) but now we're not buyers, so maybe 200 GBP is a bit steep!

Yes, one should not judge the market By the asking price. The real key is what you do get if you manage to sell your book. I paid AUD 28 for my mint condition grappling book. That in an antiquarian book shop. Did I pay too much?

P.S. 1000 Judo books is not too much is it?

Type in amazon.com and amazon.uk dynamic judo, look at the collectable prices and those do not have the books box containers, it certainly shocked me, thought I would get £50 for the pair when I originally posted here to have a clear out.
Seen that one on ebay for £270 but dismissed that as someone trying there luck
