    EJU EXPERT TALK
Alexander Jatskevitch answers a Facebook question from Paulo Barreirinhas Moreira: "What do you think about kata? Would you like to see it as a new olympic discipline within judo?"

A reasonably sensible answer to a cretinous question.

The opinion of Jatskevitch, that kata-study opens the mind for broader judo-understanding is interesting. Maybe the list of EJU-Experts should be a little bit expanded by people with more specific kata-knowledge? That could according to Jatskewitch help a little bit against narrow minded view on judo ;-)

This was but one of a series if short clips made by "EJU Experts". From what I have seen not that many of them have anything to do with the EJU or, despite being famous champions, are expert in or have an interesting opinion on what they were being asked to comment on. For example, Kaori Yamaguchi on the new rules.
