Probably not many people know that the World Judo Championships for the Blind and Visually Impaired are taking place next week in Colorado Springs! About 250 athletes from 36 countries are slated to attend. The US is fielding a team of 16 athletes including all 6 members of the 2012 Paralympic Team.
We still need help from local referees who can do gi control and scoreboard operation. If you are interested, please email me. I have some funding available. judoheidi@comcast.net.
