Ronald Désormeaux ("forgeron judo" on this Forum) has passed away July 22th, 2015, after a fierce and unrelenting combat against the cancer that painfully ravaged him for the last 14 months.
Despite the intense pain of this aweful year, his family shared many incomparable moments of tenderness, devotion and a return to life's essence: human compassion.
Ronald was a philosopher in everything he did. According to him, each and everyone must perfect themselves on all levels, must see to the wellbeing of others and live in harmony.
"There must be harmony with everything around us, and this must begin with ourselves: mind, body and manifestation of self.
The second state of harmony is achieved in the mastery of the instrument chosen as means of transfer and communication such that an effective and natural exchange can ensue.
Finally, the triumvirate is completed with the listener, the "other", who, to receive must take into account their state of receptivity, their openness and their ability to listen without prejudice. Thus predisposed, he or she can welcome, in harmony, what is offered.
Any transfer of knowledge or energy must go through the desire to transmit, and for reception, to receive, to understand and appreciate openly what is presented, without prejudice (with the mind of a student), while savouring the present moment."
