can my judo gf beat me ?

The other day my girlfriend and I got into a playful argument on who could kick who's butt. On one hand I have no martial arts experience and I'm not particularly strong or athletic. But I don't see myself losing to her I guess haha. I am taller at 5'10 and 178 lbs--shes like 5'5 and 135-140.

She has been doing judo for 2 1/2 years. She confidently assured me I would be no match for her. I know she's just boasting in good fun, but still! Is she right? Would she just toss me around the room?

Rather than taking on your girlfriend (which could lead to injury to either party), why don't you ask her if she would take you to her judo class. Experience judo like ever other beginner does and make up your mind about it based on training with a wide range of people.

The essence of judo is not whether it can be used to overpower others, physically, mentally or emotionally.
