    New member introduction - not sure if this is the right place...

    Name is Kit Leblanc, I've gone by Hissho or KIT at other forums. Judo shodan, BJJ purple, but my main interest is police defensive tactics and tactical applications, I have twenty years in LE. Most interested in historical aspects of Judo and BJJ and how that informs a comprehensive modern approach to judo/BJJ from holisitic discipline all the way to armed applications.

    I appreciate you reading the blog! Regarding chokes, it's just that I think too often people offer self defense options or solutions outside of the very different context of the street.
