I will bet 20 push-ups (That's a lot for me) that the 3000th post comes around before the 300th member. Anyone want to give me odds?

No one will bet against you... All you got to do is start posting BS posts on every thread! "technique is better than strength?", "who'd win in a fight: the 1964 Olympic champ or my buddy who was born the same year", "if you don't wear a jacket and practice judo, is it still judo", "what good is kata anyway", "now that you can't kata garuma in competition, will it still be taught? And do i have to do it during nage-no-kata?" It's too easy for you to win!

    Nice try!

Putting the post number up is easy. Making serious posts takes time.

It took about 10 seconds to do this!

awesome! And I'm not responsible for 10% of those posts - even more awesome.

Keep talking, folks, keep talking. I'll just kick back here with my cuppa and watch the fights. Razz

Amost 8000 posts and more than 400 members. Will it be more than 500 members when the 10 000 post is going to be posted. My money is on the fact that 10 000 post will NOT be of Judo.

I do not understand why 8000 is more important 7843 or 8023 and 400 member more important than 387 or 413. Does something special happens when the number of zeros increases ?

it's just an arbitrary mark, like the year 2000, or turning 55, or turning 10. And, it's much easier saying "more than 8000 posts" than it is saying, "more than 7843 posts"

And yet some people seem more fond of 69 than of 70.
