    Hey,

Government has decreed no contact sports, so no judo.

Obviously I'm disappointed, but ultimately it's for the best. Lots of panting people close by together is a recipe for disaster. Gyms are also closed. I try to walk most days, but work has paradoxically boomed so I don't have much free time.

As an aside, looks like all the old martial arts forums are dead or dying. Judoforum is dead, this is pretty much dead, Bullshido is on life support.

Hi, In Finland we hosted our national championships (men, women and teams) last Saturday. They were postponed in spring but were held now. The National team is again practicing and clubs are training.

    .. be careful out there

Hum, over here, national level athletes are training, under strict safety rules.

Regular people, adults like me, can't train judo at all. Neutral

It will soon be a year without training. bounce

Most training in Japan was open with strict limits, then Tokyo and the surrounding 3 large prefectures shut down, so all judo shut down.

As far as the forum, social media has far outstripped it as a medium. It's mostly sport judo on Twitter including the IJF and most big orgs, Facebook has a large number of groups, Reddit r/judo is pretty big.
