Kodokan Tsukinami-shiai rules? Empty Kodokan Tsukinami-shiai rules?

Is there a document that describes the Kodkan Tsukinami-shiai rules?

Do they match a certain year of IJF rules, and/or if so, are there any differences that distinguish them from IJF rules?

They are different and can be found in Chapter 5 of 柔道のルールと審判法(2004年版):

    Emanuel2,

Below is a clip from shiai at the Kôdôkan in April 2012. Does it look to you like those are under IJF rules ?

Perhaps you meant to say that since 2011 the All Japan Championships follow IJF rules ...

CK thanks very much. The book is actually affordable, so I could organize to buy it, then find a person to translate for me. However ... to be honest I'm not sure it's actually that important for me to go to the trouble. I don't suppose you or someone else could make a few more comments, or give a brief summary?

Some points that spring to my mind, on which these contests differ: Do they award koka? How long are osaekomi? Do you think they typically allow longer time to show progress in newaza? Do they allow kani-basami, or other JFA-banned waza? Are leg-grabs allowed anytime anyway? Are there any gripping restrictions? and/or ... ?

It would be nice if someone will answer your questions on here. I contacted the Intl. Dept. at the Kodokan and had that question about leg grabs such as Morote Gari and I got the response back saying it is allowed. With the Kodokan or any major Japanese corporation they can answer any question you may have in English. Wheter it is (A go British English) or (Bgo American English) Very Happy
