Kodokan summer course Empty Kodokan summer course

    Hi,
I've been reading this forum for quite some time and decided to register.
I'm a beginner (yonkyu) and 40 years of age.
This summer I'm travelling to Japan for family reasons and I was wondering about participating in the 5day Kodokan course for beginners. I'm wondering though if it's such a good idea, since I'm not very young and only have minimal experience in judo.
My physical condition is reasonable, since I'm also a kendoka (yondan) and I have some experience of training kendo in Japan, but I'm quite rigid compared to an average judoka.
My training regimen is 2-3x kendo and 1x judo/week. I know this is not a lot of judo, but as a young father, this is the most I can do at the moment. Still, I love judo and try to read and study as much as I can, so I would like to take the opportunity of training at the Kodokan, and I don't think it's good to wait until I'm even older. I'm a bit afraid that the intensity and technical level might be much too high, so I'm afraid the experience might not be as good as I hope for...
Do you have any advice/experience wether it's wise to try it or not?
    Thanks.

    thanks.
well, I e-mailed Kodokan and they said it was better for me to join the evening randori classes.
I think I will do that.
