    A woman strangled her partner's father in a judo hold, then chopped up his body and buried the pieces in a shallow grave, a court heard on Friday. Reports suggest the fight was sparked by an argument over the washing up.

    Well, we're not really sure of course there was any judo involved. Journalists on a regular basis use terms such as "judo chop" and "judo kicks" and although, yes, judo kicks and chops do exist, they are not very frequently taught or generally know. Journalists call any fighting in a kimono (and I emphasis the term 'kimono' because that is likely the term they will use although very few people will ever do judo in a kimono ...) judo or karate or kungfu or ninja secret art. Then again, the over a 100 serious accidents in Japanese dojo involving child provided sufficient basis to be believe that judo can be a deadly art, if anyone would still be doubting that. Too many things in life are deadly, including some people's cooking or some airlines' landings into San Fran on a clear day ...
