Need to borrow mats in California - Ideas? Empty Need to borrow mats in California - Ideas?

Hi, the Pacific Association of Women Martial Artists (PAWMA) is holding it's 2015 training camp in California near Santa Cruz this August & we need to find some mats we can use cheaply or borrow. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions, contacts, mats they can lend us?

The training goes from Friday to Monday, so we'd need to pick them up Thursday & bring them back Monday night. Aug 13 - 17.

Decent Judo mats are preferred, but we probably only need mats that could work for BJJ, free grappling & some traditional Jujitsu styles. We may have some Judo, but we could modify depending on the mats we get.

I'm bringing my school's crash pad, but I don't own the mats & they'll be needed by the other instructors that weekend. We can arrange for pick up & drop off. Where we borrow them from would be named & advertised if that's something the owner wants.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Here's the PAWMA website if anyone is interested. www.pawma.org

You might want to check with dollarmu mats. They are headquartered in San Jose. They might also offer mats for rental.

Thanks Vin, I checked on that but it's too expensive. We need them for 4 days & for that long it would be cheaper to buy all the mats we need! We are a non-profit organization & simply don't have the money. That's why I was hoping someone would have some they use for events that they could lend to us, or rent cheaply. I've been keeping an eye on Craigslist for used mats we could buy, but not much has shown up.

I notice you are in the Sacramento area. That is where I am too currently. How many mats do you need exactly? I might be able to help you pull something together.
