that version is out of print, there's an updated version on sale now. Both are still in copyright.

The problem is the [/quote] first time should be [quote]. The / is the sign to stop the action.
The Kodokan does not sell its books on Amazon. I've asked why - they apparently don't want to deal with the paperwork and cost. Perhaps Uemura kancho, who is changing the business attitude of the entire place, will reconsider, as they're missing a global market for things like their videos and books.

Doubtless my daughter, the tireless defender of the independent bookseller would approve of the KDK's present position ... and to some extent with good reason.
Not really changing the topic too much ... I wonder who the little man in the full business suit ... ties and lapel pin included ... who was the clerical-looking and insistent guy was who showed up on the mats at the daidojo during the presentation of the kata a couple weeks back. I saw him march right up in stocking feet to crowd of larger, sweaty judoka and ask for the kancho. He was trying to deliver a small briefcase of ... what? In front of more than a dozen KDK candy belts and 80 some-odd gaikokujin? Had to be turned away angrily when he didn't accept the first refusal.
Process server? Insurance salesman? NHK looking for the TV tax? Forever to remain a mystery I am sure.

Perhaps a formal challenge from another kanchō, kaichō, dōjōchō, or from just somebody performing musha shugyō?
