1892 lecture on Judo by Mr. Shidachi, London

This is one of the oldest English language descriptions of judo. I think only the Kano lecture in 1888 and Lafcadio Hearn's essay are earlier for major discussions.

Do you have more info on Shidachi's article? All I can find is the following, which is a rewrite based on Shidachi's lecture.
