I'm off to London soon to see my ol' judo buddy, The Guvna. Others of you may know him as Mr. Stephen Mills. Last year when I was there, which was in between the Olympics and Paralympics, we practiced at a couple of local clubs on the north side of town, right around St. Albans. I've been tied up with a lot of things since then and haven't been able to get on the mat much, so I'm excited to get back and have a bit of a workout with him and his mates. Should be another great time.

Re: Heading to London
I was thinking about it the other day. I have no idea. I was hoping you knew, since I passed it off to you. Maybe one day it'll turn up.Steve Leadbeater wrote:Have fun Jason...............btw, whatever happened to the book ??

I gave it to Ian Leigh............I think he then passed it on elsewhere.

Re: Heading to London
Hi Jason, I'll make a point of popping over to say hello when you are over. I must of just missed you last year, as we had a good session with Scott and the US paralympic team at St Albans just after the paralympics.

Re: Heading to London
I think I did just miss you then, since I was there with them before the Paralympics started. None of the team athletes joined us, but both Scott and Heidi did with some other judoka. This time around it'll be lonely lil me.Carlo wrote:Hi Jason, I'll make a point of popping over to say hello when you are over. So, when are you heading over? (I want to plan my break-in accordingly)

I'll leave the door open. Feel free to take what you like. Odds are I won't miss it. And if I do...I'll find you.Stacey wrote:So, when are you heading over? (I want to plan my break-in accordingly)

Stacey has much mellowed. Where is the Stacey I used to know who would suddenly jump from behind a curtain in your bedroom with a chainsaw running in her hands ...

Re: Heading to London
I'm stuck reading another thread about stirring loins and suicidality in kata courses - all that's missing are the drugs(unless that's responsible for the stirring loins) and the rock and roll. My iPod has me covered on that account....Cichorei Kano wrote:Stacey has much mellowed.
