Adidas IJF Red Label Champion 2

The long awaited Adidas Champion 2 IJF Red Label gi is now available. Free ground shipping within the 48 Contiguous States. The Adidas Champion 2 is available in both the regular cut and a Slim Fit version. Sizes are from size 1/150 to 5/190.

Hi Vin, trying to figure out sizing in both IJF RED label gi for Adidas Champion 2 as well as Mizuno Yusho. What is the difference between the two as far as fitment? What size would you think I wear at 5'11 and 190lbs. Which model do you prefer? What is the main difference in the slim fit?
i'm not lanky skinny, but about regular build.

I will be doing a review in a couple of weeks between these uniforms. Traditionally Mizuno has a regular fit, which is slimmer than a regular Adidas fit. At your weight and height and weight I would probably recommends a size 3.5 in the Mizuno and a size 4.5/185 in the Adidas Champion 2 Slim fit.

That would be great Vin! I see you also carry the Hiku. What would be your preference for a IJF competitor?

It's really a different stroke for different folks. The cuts are always different among different manufacturer. That being said, I have always been a Mizuno person. The Hiku I think is a slimmer cut and might fit a slender person better. Adidas also has a Slim cut for their new Champion 2 IJF gi.
